Family Literacy
is lifelong learning!

Family Literacy is coordinated learning among different generations in the same family which helps both adults and children reach their full personal, social, and economic potential. ( Massachusetts Family Literacy Consortium )

Early Childhood through Youth Education provides children with a developmentally appropriate environment and the skills they need to succeed in school, the workplace and as a citizen.

Adult Education assists adult learners to reach their educational goals (such as English as a Second Language, strengthening reading, writing and math, attaining a GED, improving job readiness skills, career counseling, and entering college).

Parenting Education and Support responds to questions and concerns about child rearing and/or personal or family issues. Parents get support from each other and program staff.

Intergenerational Learning develops comfort with and enjoyment of interactive activities, through modeling, field trips and home visit support.

Workforce Development assists adults and youth in career planning and job search skills. Information on the labor market and government sponsored training programs are key elements of employment readiness.

Making goals for education and economic self-sufficiency come true.
